When I saw this car, Tom Golby of Speedwells Kabloole replacement, come up for sale I bought it- thinking my wife (and Kablooie) might want some company in F-Production vintage racing once in a while. So typically once a year, on father’s day weekend, I’l race “my” Sprite #62 with “her” Sprite #26 with the VSCDA at Blackhawk Farms Raceway. It is a weekend I look forward to. As for the car it is the same formula as Kablooie- race-prepped 1275 with a Taylor gearbox, 4.22 diff (a limited slip in this one, though) and any decent hand me down parts I save from my wife’s Sprite that have some life left in them…
